Karl takes audiences on a musical journey back to a time when virtually all songs were created to help people forget their troubles and cares. 

Performing popular standards, acoustic blues and country/folk tunes from the early 20th century, he weaves together his syncopated fingerstyle guitar, clear vocals and rhythmic harmonica to delight audiences of all ages.  His performances often include historical anecdotes about the songs, composers, performers and cultural setting in which the music thrived.

Karl has been entertaining audiences at senior communities, civics organizations, farmers’ markets, coffee houses and other venues with his unique presentation since 2009, having delivered more than 600 musical programs to date.
